Denise will also discuss best practices for utilizing internal resources and external consultants to progress business deliverables.

Denise is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Prosper Consulting LLC. She has spent more than 25 years designing HR/compensation programs and using effective communications to inspire employees to deliver the right results. Her previous work experience includes Newmont, CenturyLink (now Lumen Technologies), First Data (now Fiserv), and Washington Mutual Bank (now JPMorgan Chase). She has advised leaders on recognition, performance, base pay, bonus, and long-term incentive programs. She speaks on topics like pay negotiation, difficult conversations, conflict resolution, pay transparency, workplace equity, emotional intelligence, and executive presence. Denise is passionate about maximizing profit, revenue, and impact for employers as a trusted advisor on HR and compensation issues. She partners with leaders to solve the talent attraction, retention, engagement, and productivity problems so they can achieve their strategic goals.  

Denise has a B.S. degree and M.B.A. from Kansas State University. She is a Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) and has attained many other certifications. Denise has previously served on the board of the Colorado Chapter of the Private Directors Association as Co-President and was a Founder of the chapter. She has previously served as the Co-Treasurer of the Rocky Mountain HR People & Strategy Association. And held multiple board positions including President of the Rocky Mountain Total Rewards Association.
